Precision Spine Announces Addition of New Board Member, Dr. Stephen D. Cook

Parsippany, NJ – March 13, 2013 – The Board of Directors of Precision Spine, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of a new member, Stephen D. Cook, Ph.D.
Dr. Cook is President and Chief Scientist at the Fellowship of Orthopaedic Researchers in Metairie, Louisiana. He sits on the editorial boards of several notable clinical journals, including Journal of Biomedical Materials Research, Journal of Oral Implantology, Medical Design and Materials and The Journal of Arthroplasty. Dr. Cook’s major areas of research interest lie in Spine Implants and Motion Preservation, Biological Attachment Mechanisms, Mechanics and Histology of Implant Interfaces, and other related fields.
Dr. Cook is currently a Research Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Clinical Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, and held the position of Lee C. Schlesinger Professor, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Tulane University from 1992 through 2006. He has over 200 published peer reviewed clinical and research papers to his credit.
